When your item arrives, we give it a thorough clean to make sure that the canvas is ready to take on wax as evenly and uniformly as possible.

Using our in-house wax blends, we apply the wax coat, taking care that every square inch, or centimeter, is treated. We then heat the wax just enough heat for it to absorb without damaging your item.

We let the wax settle for a generous (some would say excessive) 48 hours before we test the waterproofing and ensure that your gear is performing the best it can. Once we confirm top-performance, we send it on back to you.
